Northstar Business OS service terms.

Service scope

Northstar provides software for business and workforce operations, including HR, scheduling, time, payroll workflows, tax and compliance workflows, finance and expense records, reporting, and industry operations. Availability of individual features depends on account permissions, configuration, applicable law, provider readiness, and external approvals.

Northstar does not represent an external filing, payment, card program, government authorization, tax-agency acceptance, banking settlement, or certification as complete unless the applicable provider or authority has actually confirmed it.

Accounts and authorized use

Users must provide accurate information, protect login credentials, and use Northstar only for lawful business purposes. Organization administrators are responsible for assigning appropriate users, roles, capabilities, scopes, and approvals. Unauthorized access, credential sharing, malicious activity, or attempts to bypass security controls are prohibited.

Billing

Charges, billing periods, included capacity, paid capacity, one-time setup fees, and provider-dependent costs are disclosed in the application or at checkout before purchase. Current public capacity pricing is described on the Pricing page. Taxes or third-party costs may apply where disclosed.

Payroll, tax, and regulated workflows

Northstar may calculate, prepare, route, or automate payroll and tax workflows only when the applicable organization, user, data, authorization, banking, filing, tax-rule, and provider readiness conditions are satisfied. Customers remain responsible for reviewing business information and meeting legal obligations applicable to their organization. Northstar software is not a substitute for individualized legal, tax, accounting, or HR advice.

Northstar Business Card

The Business Card program is provider-dependent. Card issuance, eligibility, rewards, cashback, revenue sharing, funding, merchant controls, settlement, and other financial services are subject to approval and final program terms. Northstar will not represent a planned reward or revenue-share percentage as guaranteed until approved by the applicable issuing or financial-services partner.

Suspension and termination

Northstar may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address security, fraud, nonpayment, legal requirements, provider restrictions, misuse, or material violations of these terms. Customers may request cancellation as described in the Cancellation Policy.
